"I suffered from chronic back pain for over 20 years. There would be days of debilitating pain with every movement putting limitations on everything I tried to do. Everyday chores were impossible to accomplish. Over the years, I was medicated with muscle relaxers, tried physical therapy, and epidurals. What follows is a rundown of my experience with Dr. Hendrix to date.
"My pain level at my first appointment was so off-the-chart that I couldn't catch my breath. After a very pleasant consultation with Dr. Hendrix, he performed several adjustments, all the while explaining with great detail each maneuver. I left there feeling less pressure and able to breathe with more ease. Unfortunately, within a couple of hours, I experienced sharp pains in one of my problems areas. In all honesty, I was a little scared so I took some pain medication and went to bed. After a good rest, I awoke feeling better. Here's the good part. Dr. Hendrix called that evening to check on me since my appointment that day was my first experience with a chiropractor. Needless to say I was impressed and he explained that the pain I had felt was not that unusual.
